The Process

Briefing

This is the initial meeting between the client and myself, during which the client explains their goals and objectives for the project, and I gather information about the client’s needs and preferences.

Kickoff

This is the first official meeting of the project team, during which the project scope, timeline, and deliverables are discussed and agreed upon.

Research

This involves gathering and analyzing information about the target audience, market, and competition in order to inform the project’s strategy and direction.

Architecture & Sitemap

This refers to the organization and structure of the project’s content and features, typically depicted in the form of a sitemap or flowchart.

Mock-up

This is a preliminary design of the project, usually created using wireframes or prototypes, which allows the team to test and refine the user experience.

Development to 95%

This refers to the process of building and testing the project, typically up to a point where it is almost complete but may still require some final touches.

Recap

This is a review of the project to date, during which the team reflects on what has been accomplished and identifies any remaining tasks or issues.

Launch

This is the final step in the process, during which the project is made live and made available to the intended audience.
